Ever had the problem with a not so accurate moon phase complication? The new Duomètre Sphérotourbillon Moon from renowned Swiss manufacturer Jaeger-LeCoultre solves just that problem with being accurate when set for 3887 years!
Jaeger-LeCoultre makes watches intended to be used every day and the watch measures just 42 mm wide and 14.3 mm thick, quite amazing considering all of the complications within the case. It’s guaranteed to wear comfortably even with the most tight shirts and suits.
The Duomètre Sphérotourbillion Moon features a Sphrérotourbillion, but what exactly is that? It’s a tourbillion that rotates on two axes, making it even more accurate because it counteracts the gravity of the earth. The titanium cage which the turbillion cages is in rotates at a 20-degree, a tribute to the earths tilt in the north starts direction.
Being that complications often take much power the watch is equipped with two power reserve indicators, the 476-part manual movement boost 45 hours power reserve. The watch is equipped with a small seconds hand flyback system making the tourbillion being set very precisely.
It’s a nice addiction to the Duomètre collection of watches and a must for any astronomy lover.
